Construction nodes in hemp and lime

Technical details of the project

This section contains Tecnocanapa construction nodes, developed to support designers, architects, and technicians in designing hemp and lime building envelopes.

The construction nodes represent the main connection details between building elements and help understand how to correctly apply the Tecnocanapa system in various design situations.

The available construction details specifically concern:

  • wall and floor connections
  • integration of windows and doors into the envelope
  • roof nodes
  • main connection points between building elements

To facilitate system integration into architectural projects, a complete DWG file is available, which can be imported into CAD software and adapted to specific project requirements.

The DWG file contains the Tecnocanapa construction nodes in editable CAD format, which can be used as a basis for designing the building envelope.

The file contains:

  • Construction details of the Tecnocanapa system
  • Editable CAD elements that can be integrated into architectural designs
  • Technical diagrams that can be adapted to specific project requirements

Why use Tecnocanapa construction nodes

The performance of the building envelope depends not only on the materials used, but also on the proper design of the construction nodes, or connections between the different elements of the building.

Ground connections, connections between walls and floors, windows and doors, and the roof are particularly sensitive points of the building envelope. If not designed correctly, they can generate thermal bridges, condensation, or impaired breathability.

Tecnocanapa construction nodes help designers and technicians correctly integrate hemp and lime systems, helping to ensure:

  • continuity of the envelope’s insulation
  • reduction of the risk of thermal bridges
  • proper vapor diffusion in the stratigraphy
  • moisture management in construction connections

This way, it is possible to make the most of the thermo-hygrometric performance of the Tecnocanapa system, both in new buildings and in the redevelopment of existing buildings.
