Biomattone®
Biomattone® combines insulation and thermal mass properties. It is composed of hemp shives, CenC-certified hemp wood, and Legante Dolomitico Naturale, a dolomitic hydrated lime binder. In line with the principles of social and environmental sustainability, it has all the qualities required of a building material that is consistent with sustainable development: high insulating capacity, low embodied energy and the ability to absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere. It measures 20×50 cm and is available in thicknesses of 8, 12, 20, 25, 30, 36, 40 and 50 cm.
The specific analysis and control process undertaken has led to this product obtaining the Biosafe® Validation Seal, a mark of guarantee for health and well-being in confined spaces.
