Subfloor insulation made exclusively with natural materials.
The insulating layer of Bio Beton® 200, made of hemp and lime, is laid over a 30 or 40 cm bed of gravel, ventilated by perforated pipes with a diameter of 80 mm, spaced 120 cm apart. In addition to being an excellent insulator, hemp also manages humidity effectively, preventing any rising damp from affecting walls or floors.
Once the hemp-lime biocomposite is laid, installation of systems and construction of subfloors can proceed.
