Alfa: the home of the future is finally a reality
Milan, 15 June 2024 – The event held on 13 June at the new Paola Lenti Milano flagship store, at 28 Via Giovanni Bovio, was a great success. The undisputed star was “Alfa, la casa possibile”, a revolutionary green housing project of more than 300 square metres, created through the collaboration between Paola Lenti, Bestetti Associati, Tecnocanapa by Senini and Ottagono by AD Dal Pozzo.
A perfect combination of innovation and sustainability
Alfa represents a genuine leap into the future of architecture, perfectly combining indoor comfort with respect for the environment. The key to its success lies in the use of innovative materials and technologies, including:
- Bio Beton: an innovative hemp-and-lime building envelope patented by Tecnocanapa by Senini, providing exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation, regulating humidity and creating an ideal indoor microclimate.
- Light-gauge steel structural frame: manufactured by Ottagono by AD Dal Pozzo, 99% recyclable and 100% earthquake-resistant, this frame provides strength, architectural flexibility and rapid construction.
A practical example of sustainable construction
The use of hemp, a plant with a negative carbon impact, makes a significant contribution to decarbonising the construction industry. In addition, the photovoltaic system, producing more than 1.5 million kWh of energy, together with the absorptive properties of hemp, makes Alfa a genuine showcase for sustainability.
